When I think of Bowflex I think of innovation and really nice quality fitness equipment. Bowflex has done it again with the rise of the Bowflex treadclimber TC5000. This awesome piece of equipment makes any regular ol piece of exercise equipment look small in comparison. If you want to burn fat and get rid of it quick then this Bowflex treadclimber is for you. It’s not like a regular workout on a treadmill, because the treadclimber challenges you alot more than any other piece of cardio equipment on the market.

From the fitness beginner to the most advanced you will get a heck of a workout on this machine. The 12 settings can easily be changed to meet your resistance and workout goals. Even the most fit people will get a nice cardio workout on the treadclimber.

Tracking Results:

You can monitor almost anything you would ever want to monitor about your weight loss goals. You can track how many steps you take, the speed your running or walking, how many calories you have burned, the time you have worked out on the machine, distance and much more. Bowflex did a great job on the tracking.

Climb Indicator:

This is sweet! I really like this feature that Bowflex has added to the treadclimber. The built in climb indicator will let you know everytime you have climbed 100 feet. So every 100 feet of elevation that you climb the treadclimber will tell you. Thats a nice addition to the features.

Calories Burned:

This feature is awesome and makes tracking how many calories you burned very easily. They used some advanced technology by using your body mass index as well as your speed and intensity inputs to accurately calculate the burned calories. This feature is like no other. Most machines do not do this and their fore most are not as accurate as the treadclimber.

Performance:

The speed range on this top rated fitness equipment is .7 to 4.0 miles per hour. This is not bad and will give you the kind of speed to stay safe as well as burn the heck out of calories. Their are also 12 resistance settings that are great for beginner to the most fit.

Programming:

The programming of the tc5000 are a breeze and they really make it simple. You have 8 options which are the speed at which your stepping away at, distance you could have walked, calories your burning per minute, total calories burned, how many steps you have taken and monitoring your heart rate. These are some really nice features and they have really gone above and beyond to make sure the statistics are accurate as well as easy to use. Nice job!

Ergonomics:

The design is smooth and easy to get on and off. It has the convenience of water bottle holders and a place for books and magazines. The machine will work you out and keep you comfortable. No problem with that!

Treadmill: The moving belts on the treadclimber let you walk just like you would on a typical treadmill. Nice feature and this is what makes this machine great.

Stairclimber: Unlike a treadmill this fine piece of engineering lets you walk up just like a stairclimber. It has two independent Dual Treadles that make the stairclimbing feature come together. I’m loving this feature and this is what makes your workouts even tougher and helps you to burn calories alot faster than other exercise machines.

Bowflex is saying that once you combine the above 2 features you will get a intense and yet effective workout with the low impact motion that a elliptical trainer provides you with.

Warranty:

The warranty on this machine I think needs to be stepped up. They are only giving you a 5 year warranty on the motor, 3 years on electronics and parts and 2 year warranty on the hydrolics. This warranty stinks in my opinion. Bowflex needs to step up the warranty to atleast 10 years on the motor and 5 on the rest. If they believe they have a top rated cardio machine and are charging $2500 for it, then back it up!

I recommend the treadclimber for people who want one piece of equipment that will give you the workout of 3 exercise machines in 1 then this is it. Instead of having a treadmill, elliptical etc. You can choose the TC5000 for your fitness goals. It will provide you with accurate stat tracking, tons of features and most of all a heck of a workout for a decent price.
